Who are we, and what are we like?We are an all age group of ordinary Christians from many different backgrounds. Typically about 50-70 of us meet on a Sunday for a service which is simple, interactive, and is different every week. We have a ‘laid back’ feel. We believe in being ‘real’, in being open about our joys and our struggles, in supporting each other, and in being a safe place for those who often find themselves on the margins of society (and sometimes of the Christian church). We were started a number of years ago by Living Stones Community Church, and are still linked to them in a number of ways, but have developed our own ‘flavour’. We have our own leadership with a team of men and women with various leadership responsibilities. We believe that leaders should serve, support and encourage the congregation. We have no formal membership, but hope that people will participate in the life of the church. Our vision is to bring Jesus to Old Town and Old Town to Jesus, for more information click here. |

Can we help you?If you are new to the area we can advise you about local facilities. Find us at the Old Town Community Centre on Sunday and Wednesday mornings, or contact us. We have activities running from time to time which may not appear on this website, such as women’s groups looking at issues of relationships, fear, self worth etc. We believe God heals today – we would be willing to pray with you if you would like us to.
